Login using the below information:
Username: Your Email Address
Password: The default password will be QAS123 for new families

Returning Families: an account has already been set up for you. Your username is your main email address provided to the office and the default password is QAS123 if you have never logged in before. If you need to reset your password, please email [email protected].
New Families: Your account will be ready after Spring Break. Your username is your main email address provided to the office and the default password is QAS123. If you have trouble logging in, please email [email protected].
Log-in to OnVolunteers before April 30, 2025 to select your preferences for the 2025/2026 school year.

· You will choose 3 preferences for the 2025/2026 school year. Select day/time availability for your selection, if applicable. Additional information can also be included in the Comments Section.
· CATEGORY MANAGERS ARE ALWAYS NEEDED: Please indicate in the comments if you are interested in taking the position of category manager (CM) for one of the Activities listed. Category Manager Positions automatically qualify for the 50 hours allocation.
· Your preferences are not guaranteed but will assist us in matching our needs to your preferences whenever possible. Our goal is to first fill the categories that are crucial to the school’s daily operation i.e. workbee; Traffic an Supervision and major fundraising events. Also, category managers will make efforts to contact parents interested in their categories, but it is ultimately the parents’ responsibility to ensure they are proactive in signing up for work.
· Descriptions of the available Tasks/Activities are available in The Parent Participation Program Handbook (found on qasbc.ca).
· Parents may need to work in more that one category to complete their minimum total hours.
· All hours must be completed and submitted by June 16, 2026.
· Hours accumulated are for the current school year only and will not be carried over.

1. SCHEDULED ACTIVITIES
If you have committed to any of the following Groups for the school year, your Category Manager will assign your shifts and register you for activities. YOU DO NOT NEED TO SUBMIT HOURS FOR THESE GROUPS/ACTIVITIES.
· Traffic and Supervision (Monday to Friday)
· Library (Monday to Friday)
· Hot Dog/Grilled Cheese (Mondays)
· Hot Foods Main (Wednesdays)
· Work Bee Main (Saturdays)
2. REGISTER FOR A VOLUNTEER TASK: Instructions linked HERE.
There are volunteer opportunities that require registration in the Portal. You will see tasks listed under the “People Needed” section (you may need to scroll to view all available positions that are available). If this section is empty, then there are no available opportunities at this time. Please continue to monitor this section.
3. SUBMIT HOURS FOR UNSCHEDULED ACTIVITIES ‘AD-HOC’:
If neither options 1 or 2 above apply, you’ve participated in volunteer work that is considered unscheduled or ‘ad-hoc’ and you must submit your hours. Instructions linked HERE.
