the playground will be closed to all students and families out of respect for the service. The parking lot will likely be full, so families are encouraged to park on a nearby side street and walk to pick up their children. We kindly ask that all families head home promptly after dismissal. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

· SPCA Fair Tomorrow! – Our SPCA Club is excited to host our annual SPCA Fair tomorrow from 9:10 AM – 2:15 PM!

Students will enjoy 15fun activity stations featuring games, treats, and prizes. Each station costs between 1–5 tickets (depending on the prizes), and tickets are $1each. Classes will attend the fair at their assigned times. We are also excited to welcome SPCA representatives in the afternoon to visit and see the fair in action! All proceeds will be donated to our local BC SPCA.

Important Reminders:

· This is also a $1 Non-Uniform Day (separate from fair tickets).

· Students may wear non-uniform clothing, but it must be school-appropriate.

Thank you for your support, we’re looking forward to a fun day!

· Silent Auction Donations– We’re excited for our upcoming carnival on May 29 and are looking forward to a fun day together as a community. To help raise funds for our school, we will be hosting a silent auction and are kindly asking for your support. If you own a business or have connections to one, we would greatly appreciate donations such as gift cards, gift baskets, or services. Thank you for helping make our carnival a success. If you are able to contribute, please reach out to Paola Lashley at [email protected] or you can drop it off at the school office. Thank you for your generosity!

· QAS Got Talent Showcase! Get ready for the Annual Carnival Talent Show! Start thinking about what talent you’d like to show —singing, dancing, magic, or something unique (solo or in a group)!
Sign-up sheets will go out at the end of April. To give more students a chance to participate, performances will be limited to one per child. We can’t wait to see your talents on stage!

· Stuffies Wanted– We’re launching something extra sweet at this year’s Carnival—a Stuffed Animal Adoption Centre!
We’re looking for lightly loved (clean and gently used) stuffed toys that are ready for a second chance at cuddles. If your home has a few plush friends looking for a new adventure, we’d love for you to donate them!
Your previously loved stuffies will help bring big smiles to new little owners—all while supporting our school fundraiser. Thank you for helping us give these cuddly friends a brand-new home! We will have a box by the front office for your stuffie donations.

· May Flower Offering – May 9, Saturday. Calling grandparents, grandchildren, and parents to join us in celebrating the Month of Mary. The event will begin with 9AM Mass, followed by a mini-procession, the Rosary, hymns, and an offering of fresh flowers to Our Lady in the courtyard. A simple reception will follow.

This is a wonderful opportunity to honor our Lord with His Mother, to bless our children, and to pray together as a community. Please bring a rosary and fresh flowers from your garden or a store. We will have a limited supply of flowers available for those unable to bring their own. We look forward to seeing you there. See the poster for details or RSVP by scanning the QR code.
