School News
· Christmas Concert – we have been getting questions regarding our Christmas Concert. Does my child need to come? Yes, the concert is part of the Fine Arts curriculum. It is also an opportunity for our community to come together as we prepare for Christmas.
· St. Vincent de Paul: Each Advent, our school supports the All Saints Parish StVdP by donating food items to support families and individuals. Students are asked to bring in the following items Starting on Monday December 1 until Friday, December 12th.

· Advent Assemblies – all are invited to attend these prayer times on Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 8:50 a.m. and Monday, Dec. 15 at 8:50 a.m.
QAS Choir – If your child is in choir and will be participating at Lougheed Mall, please see the attached letter.
· Dress Down Day – will be on Thursday, December 18th “Christmas PJs”.
Students who will be participating are asked to bring a food donation for St. Vincent de Paul and students not participating should be in full uniform.
· SeeSaw App – a test announcement was sent out on Monday, December 1 on the seesaw app. We are using this app for communication purposes for school closures or emergency announcements. If you did not receive the message, please let the office know.
- Report Card – please make sure to return the report card cover and envelopes by the end of the week.
Fundraising
· Purdys Fundraiser – Thank you to everyone who supported our QAS Purdys Fundraiser this year! Your chocolates will be ready for pick up outside of the gym on Thursday, Dec 4th from 2:30-3:30pm. If you need to make alternative arrangements for pick up, please email [email protected]
Hot Lunch
· Munch a Lunch – just a reminder munch a lunch will be open for session 2 on Friday, December 5 until Friday, December 12 at midnight. You can click on the click to order or set up an account. www.munchalunch.com/schools/queenofallsaints
NO LATE ORDEERS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Second session will start on Wednesday, January 7th.
Parish News
· Friday Morning Coffee & Treats! – Friday, 5, December. Join us for the school Mass at 9:00 AM this Friday, then head to the parish hall for coffee and great conversation!
· Christmas Pageant 2025 – We want to invite your child to take part in the greatest story of all time. Join our Christmas Pageant and Children’s Choir at All Saints Parish this year! The pageant will take place before the Holy Mass on Wednesday, December 24, at 5 pm.
§ Roles to be filled – Total 28:
Narrator (2), Mary (1), Joseph (1), An Innkeeper (1), Main Angel (1), Group of Angels (6), Shepherds (6), Angel Starholder (1), Wise Men (3), Various animals (Sheep, cows, etc.)
How to sign up?
Please email Lesley at [email protected] to confirm your child’s participation. Include your child’s top three (3) role choices. Roles will be assigned during the first rehearsal, and if there is high interest in a particular role, we will draw lots.
§ Children’s choir:
There will also be a children’s choir for the pageant. If your child wishes to join the choir, please contact Tricia at [email protected]
