Dear Parents,
Once again, thanks to all QAS families who are doing their part, to keep all of us safe. Your commitment to following the PHO orders, such as, staying home when not well, wearing a mask, and physically distancing has been greatly appreciated. By working together, we are stronger!
A message to all drivers: Fairfax Street is a “school zone”. The speed limit is 30 km/hour, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each school day.
Today we say “so long and all the best” to Ms. Arndt. We thank her for her years of service to the QAS community.
Take care and be safe,
Miss Sandberg
Principal
Valentine’s Day
Due to COVID-19, students are asked not to bring “edibles” to hand out to their classmates. Cards or pencils are fine, however, they must be brought to school no later than Monday, February 8th. The items will “sit” prior to distribution. The classroom teachers will distribute the items at the end of the day on Wednesday, February 10th.
Raise the Funds Fundraiser
Please help support QAS with this amazing fundraiser! Raise the Funds offers great quality foods made fresh using local community small businesses. It’s a great way to stock your fridge and help small businesses as well! An order form was sent home with your child last week, and is also available on our school website. All orders need to be submitted to the school by Thursday, February 4th. Your orders will be ready for pickup on Tuesday, February 23rd. Thank you so much for supporting Queen of All Saints School. If you have any questions, please contact Daniela Kelly at [email protected].
PE Uniform
Gym Strip sales were opened up for one week, Wednesday, January 27 – Wednesday, February 3. Today is your last chance! If you need something please complete an online order. Once we have an idea of the demand, we may place an order IF we can meet the ordering minimums. A confirmation email will be sent to you if your order can be fulfilled. At that time you will have 1 week to submit payment to Queen of All Saints. Please note that if we do proceed with a bulk order the turnaround time can be up to 6 weeks from the sales close date. If you have any questions, please email Claudia & Tasia at [email protected]
Thank you kindly, Claudia & Tasia
Ongoing Bottle Return Fundraiser
Here is an easy way to raise funds for our school. Simply bring your bottles to a ‘return-it’ depot in sealed, clear bags, and enter the school’s phone number (604-931-9071) into the Express kiosk. The kiosk will print sticker tags displaying our QAS Express account code. Tag each of your bags and drop the bags off in the designated Express drop-off area to be counted. Please use standard, commercially available ‘blue’ recycling or ‘transparent’ bags. Please avoid bags with the ‘pull string’ closing system. They have a tendency to leave a hole at the top where your containers can fall out.

All who are interested please email [email protected] by Friday Feb 5
Catholic Educators Conference & Family Day
Just a reminder that there is no school on Thursday, Feb. 11th and Friday, Feb. 12th so that the teachers can attend the Catholic Educators Conference. Monday, February 15th is BC Family Day holiday. Enjoy an extra long weekend.
Thank-you
