School News
o Year End Picnic- Unfortunately we will not be able to proceed with the Blue Mountain portion of the picnic on June 23rd, due to a lack of supervisors. With the many track meets and recent field trips in most classes, all have been extended beyond their capabilities.
Those who ordered the BBQ lunch on this day, will receive it at school.
Classes will proceed as usual and there will be some year-end activities taking place throughout the day.
o Hot Lunch/BBQ Payment – we have a few families that still owe for hot lunch and the BBQ lunch. We need to have all payments in the office ASAP. You can pay online by credit card on munch a lunch or cash/cheque to the office.
o Gym Uniform – Ordering is now open on the school’s website for gym strip for next year. It’ll be open until Friday, June 13. Make sure to look at your child’s gym strip to see if they need anything for next year. We won’t be ordering again until the new year.
o Sports Day – We are so excited to be having a Sports Day on Friday, June 13th. Please send along a recess snack for your child. Students will be told of their team color by their classroom teacher. Students will be dismissed at noon on that day.
o Hot Lunch & PAC Hot Dog/Grilled Cheese – This week was the last week for hot lunch and Hot Dog/Grilled Cheese. Please make sure your child has lunch next week. A big thank you to all the parents that help run these two lunch programs.
o Library Books – All library books are due this Friday, June 13th.
Parent Participation
o 2025-26 School Year – Supervisors Needed!
We need the following 5 shifts covered for the 2025-26 School year:
· Before School (8:10am to 8:55am) – Monday
· After School (2:30pm to 3:15pm) – Mondays
· Before School (8:10am to 8:55am) – Thursdays
· Lunch Supervision (11:50am to 12:20pm) – Thursday
· Before School (8:10am to 8:55am) – Fridays
Please email [email protected] if you’re able to take these important volunteer roles for next school year.
o Class Parents for the 2025-26 School Year
We need volunteers for Class Parents for the 2025-26 SY for Grade 3, Grade 4 and Grade 6. Please find attached what the Class Parent role entails. If you’re interested, please email [email protected] with your name and preferred grade.
o Parent Participation Hours
The parent participation commitment for the 2024-25 school year is 50 hours. Please login to OnVolunteers and ensure all of your Volunteer Hours are recorded to avoid your cheques being cashed.
If you’ve volunteered for a scheduled task (Workbee, Traffic & Supervision, Library, etc.) your Category Manager will submit your hours. If you have volunteered for one of these tasks and your hours are not recorded, please email [email protected]
If you’ve volunteered for any unscheduled tasks, such as Walk-a-thon, Coaching, Fieldtrips, Fundraising events, etc. then you must login to OnVolunteers and submit your hours using the ad-hoc function. The hours will then be verified online by your category manager.

Parish Information
o Friday Morning Coffee & Treats!-June 13th, Join us for the school Mass at 9:00 AM this Friday, then head to the parish hall for coffee and great conversation—see you there!
o Praise & Worship Night- June 20th, 6:45pm -9:00pm
Join us for a beautiful and uplifting evening of live praise and worship music, and Eucharistic adoration as we celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi! Child minding will be provided. Come as you are. Everyone is welcome.
o A Summer Experience for Children & Parents
We invite you to join us for a faith-filled adventure session for your children while parents get to enjoy an opportunity to connect and take a break with a selection of specialty coffee drinks (hot or cold) curated by an inhouse barista.
Our resident seminarian will engage us in meaningful time together while we take your children off your hands for a couple of hours!
Mark your calendars: Friday, July 18th. Start: 9am with Mass.
o An Invitation to Alpha – #tryalpha
If you’re looking for a space to grow in faith, connect with other young parents, and find encouragement, we’d love to welcome you to Alpha.
Alpha is designed to support and inspire you as you navigate through the challenges of life while deepening your faith in a non-judgemental environment.
Through meaningful discussions, and shared experiences, you’ll find strength in community and faith. There are 2 sessions for you to choose from. A morning session with breakfast or an evening session with dinner.
Whether you’re new to the faith or seeking, there’s a place for you here.
