School Updates – November 4th, 2020

SCHOOL UNIFORM

We have now received all PE orders and they have been distributed. Cambridge Uniforms has also caught up on any back orders. Therefore, students are now expected to come to school dressed in the appropriate uniform:

  • Kindergarten – full uniform on all days
  • Grade 1 – full uniform on all days or QAS PE uniform on gym days (optional)
  • Grades 2 to 7 – full uniform on non-PE days and QAS PE uniform on gym days (and team practice days)
  • On gym days, students may wear a non-QAS top or bottoms in order to keep warm but they must also wear their PE shirt and shorts.
  • According to school policy, all regular uniform items must be purchased from Cambridge Uniforms. This includes boy’s pants.

We will begin our uniform “checks” next week.

POPPY FUND

All students were given a poppy for the filming of our Remembrance Day service. The Canadian Legion relies on the support of Canadians in order to offer programs for Veterans and Seniors, as well as, keeping the memory of those who served going. A suggested donation of $1.00 can be brought in before November 12th.

INDIVIDUAL PHOTOS

Student photos will take place this coming Friday, November 6th. Students should come to school in their uniform, including their sweater.

TTO students (who are returning on November 16th) will have the opportunity to have their photo taken on re-take day, Wednesday, December 2nd.
