Important Dates

School News

· Earthquake/Emergency Release Drill – will be next Thursday, October 9 at 2:15pm. We are still missing a few Student Emergency Release forms; we need to have these forms returned by Friday, October 3.

· Blessing of the Pets – is tomorrow Thursday, October 2 at 1:30pm. If it is raining it will be moved to the school gym.

· Three Way Conference – student/parent/teacher conference will be on Thursday, October 23. Students will not attend classes on this day but will come at the Conference time chosen. Students should come in full uniform. The teachers will be sending home a Calendly link this Friday for sign up purposes. Please pick a 10 min time slot and sign up each of your children.

Hot Foods

· Hot Dog/Grilled Cheese – today is the last day to order Hot dog/grilled cheese lunch. You can order through the link below www.munchalunch.com/schools/queenofallsaints

NO LATE ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Preferred payment is credit card through Munch a Lunch.

Fundraising

· QAS Book Fair Fundraiser – will be here from October 14-20 from 9:00am to 3:00pm in the library.

· Walkathon – will be taking place Friday, October 10^th. Students will be dismissed at 12pm.

New this year, donations will be accepted online through the link below. Please follow the instructions to donate.

1. Scroll down and click on your child’s “GIVING GROUP” (GRADE/TEACHER).

2. Click on the “GIVE” button and enter your donation.

4. FAMILIES WITH MULTIPLE CHILDREN, PLEASE MAKE SEPARATE DONATIONS TO SPECIFIC GRADES, as this will help with the process of tracking Walkathon Challenges (Class, School, Half-Way Hero) and Prize Draw Categories.

· QAS Halloween Party – Please join us for our first ever QAS Halloween party ft. DJ Rock n Beau!

Blaze burgers and the Saliba family will be donating a portion of their food sales back to QAS. So please participate in the dinner portion of the event!

Parish News

· Friday Morning Coffee & Treats! – Friday, Oct 3 – Join us for the school Mass at 9:00 AM this Friday, then head to the parish hall for coffee and great conversation!

· Youth Night – Friday, October 3 Calling all Grade 6 and 7!

Join us for an awesome evening on Friday, October 3rd from 5:00pm –7:00 PM in the Parish Hall! We’ll have fun games, exciting activities, and a chance to hang out with friends—and yes, free dinner is included! You are still welcome to join our First Friday Mass at 7:00PM to end our event.

Don’t miss out—bring a friend and make it a night to celebrate and connect!!

· Parish Family Living Rosary – Thursday, 9 OCT at 6PM Please join us for our Parish Family Living Rosary. We will begin with Holy Mass, followed by a short candlelight procession to the parking lot, where we’ll pray the Rosary together. Afterward, we’ll gather in the parish hall for light refreshments and fellowship. Children from the parish will help lead the Rosary.
