Important Dates🗓

School News

· Three Way Conferences – are tomorrow Thursday, October 23^rd. Please make sure students are dressed in their school uniform and you come at your assigned time slot.

· Kindergarten Siblings – We have the following families with children starting Kindergarten in September 2026: Cabrera Menjivar, Lacson, San Jose, Harvey, Nacar and Vidovic. Please let the office know if you have a child not on this list.

· Lost and found – will be set up tomorrow. If you are missing any items, please take a look. As a reminder, please label your students clothing items with their name.

· Archbishop Carney Regional Secondary Info Session – Grade 5, 6, and 7 parents are invited to meet with the Principal, Mr. De Julius on Thursday, November 6^th at 7:30 p.m. in our Library. Come hear about our parish high school and have your questions answered.

· All Saints Day – We will be celebrating our Parish’s feast day on Friday, October 31^st. Students are encouraged to dress in their favorite saint costume, or they can come dressed in their school uniform.

Fundraising

· Support Our COMMUNITY VALUES Fundraiser! This fundraiser wraps up on Thursday, October 23. We kindly ask all families to return any unsold books or submit the $35 payment by this Thursday, October 23.

· QAS Halloween Party 🎃 – This event is sold out!
We can’t wait to celebrate together at the QAS Spooktacular Halloween Party on Saturday, October 25 at QAS Gym. To keep the experience fun, safe, and family-friendly, please review these essentials:

House Rules:
Costumes: Keep it clean. No scary, gory, weapon-related, or “evil” costumes.
Supervision: All children must attend with a parent or guardian. This is not a drop-off event.
Entry/Exit: Once you’re in, you’re in. No in-and-out privileges.

Payments on site:
Cash and debit preferred.
Credit card purchases will include a small surcharge.
Bring your best smiles, comfy shoes, and festive spirit.

QAS Halloween Committee

· Walkathon – We will be having the Walkathon Assembly on Friday, October 31 at 2:00pm. Parents are welcome to come.

· Save the Date – 10^th Annual Breakfast with Santa will be on Sunday, December 7^th. We are looking for parents/parishioners who are photographers, that would interest in helping. Volunteer hours will be provided. If you are able to help, please reach out to Marla Tomljenovich at 778-896-5972

· No Friday Morning Coffee & Treats! – Friday, Oct. 24^th

· Children and Anxiety – Thursday, 6 November at 6PM at the Parish Hall – Do you want to learn more about “anxiety”? How to identify it, and how you can help your child in dealing with an anxious world? Join us for an evening of learning with Dr. Tamara Williams, Ph.D, R.Psych. · Advent Wreath Making – Friday, 28 November | 3PM-5PM | Parish Hall – Join us for Advent Wreath Making on Friday, Nov 28th, 3PM to 5PM in the parish hall. Cost: $15 per family (includes candles, foam, and base)
