School News

·      Student Led Conference – you should have received an email last week with a link to book a time for the student led conference on Thursday, May 14^th.  The link will close on Monday, May 11^th, so please make sure you have booked a time.

·      QAS SPCA FAIR UPDATE – Thank you to all our SPCA Club students who worked so hard to make this year’s SPCA Fair such a success. Thanks to their dedication, we surpassed last year’s total by over $200, raising an incredible $2,810 for animals in need. We will be delivering this donation on behalf of our school later this month. A heartfelt thank you as well to all the families who came out to support the fair. It was a truly special community event, and it would not have been possible without your support.

·      Hot Foods Payments – just a reminder that hot food payment is now due.  You can login to your Munch-a-Lunch account and pay by credit card or send cash or cheque to the school this week.

– Call for Yearbook Art – Open to all students.  Would you like to see your artwork featured in the 2025/2026 yearbook?  Just draw a picture on a letter size paper depicting the CISVA theme of this year: 

“Proclaiming Our Faith” Please submit your drawing with your name and grade to the school office until May 20.

Fundraising News

Come join us at our annual QAS Carnival- Friday, May 29th from 3pm-8pm 🎡

·      Preorders- Skip the lines! Buy your activity bands and food in advance. Activity bands include unlimited access to an obstacle course, bouncy castles, (there are more this year!) carnival games (including prizes), facepainting and a larger prize. New this year, preorders will be submitted online only using this link:  Queen of All Saints School Carnival – Food & Activity Pass Pre-Order Form

·      Volunteers: Thanks to the volunteers who have signed up.  We are still looking for more volunteers. Volunteers are needed for games, supervising bouncy castles, clean up, ticket sales, dunk tunk, etc.  If you have not yet completed your participation hours, now is your chance to fulfill them.  Please sign up using this link and further details will be emailed to you closer to the carnival date.  Thanks for making this a memorable event for our kids and community! ·      QAS Got Talent Showcase! Get ready for the Annual Carnival Talent Show!  We would love to see your talent, singing, dancing, magic, or something unique (solo or in a group)! To give more students a chance to participate, performances will be limited to one per child. We can’t wait to see your talents on stage! ·      Silent Auction Donations. We’re still looking for silent auction donations to help raise funds for our school, if you own a business or have connections to one, we would greatly appreciate donations such as gift cards, gift baskets, or services. Thank you for helping make our carnival a success. If you are able to contribute, please reach out to Paola Lashley at [email protected] or you can drop it off at the school office. Thank you for your generosity!

·      Class Baskets- The PAC is helping to organize class theme baskets for our silent auction.  Thanks to those who have provided a donation.  If you would still like to contribute, please drop off your donation (asking $2 – $5) at the school office or with your child by May 13^th.

·      Stuffies Wanted– We’re launching something extra sweet at this year’s Carnival—a Stuffed Animal Adoption Centre! 
We’re looking for lightly loved (clean and gently used) stuffed toys that are ready for a second chance at cuddles. If your home has a few plush friends looking for a new adventure, we’d love for you to donate them!
Your previously loved stuffies will help bring big smiles to new little owners—all while supporting our school fundraiser. Thank you for helping us give these cuddly friends a brand-new home! We will have a box by the front office for your stuffie donations.

·      Bake Sale– Baking Needed: Hours Given! We will be having a bake sale table at the carnival, and we are requesting baked goods. You can get up to 2 hours (max) of participation hours for baking.  One (1) hour is equivalent to: 2 dozen cookies; 1 dozen cupcakes; 1 loaf; 1 pie; 1 cake.  Can you please bring your baking to the school either on Thursday, May 28th or Friday morning, May 29. Parish News

·      Friday Morning Coffee & Treats! – May 8 – There will be no Coffee & Treats this Friday. Angels and Saints Preschool will be having their Mother’s Day Tea on Friday morning.

·      May Flower Offering – May 9, Saturday.  Calling grandparents, grandchildren, and parents to join us in celebrating the Month of Mary. The event will begin with 9AM Mass, followed by a mini-procession, the Rosary, hymns, and an offering of fresh flowers to Our Lady in the courtyard. A simple reception will follow.

This is a wonderful opportunity to honor our Lord with His Mother, to bless our children, and to pray together as a community. Please bring a rosary and fresh flowers from your garden or a store.
