Dear Parents,
Thank you for the overwhelming support of the St. Vincent de Paul Society of All Saints Parish. The amount and quality of donations is very impressive. I’m certain that families and individuals will be thrilled with the hampers that they receive. Donations will be received up to the morning of December 10th.
Attached to today’s email is a letter from our Music Teacher, Mrs. Black. It explains our Advent presentation: Week 1 will be available to view tomorrow. We hope that you will have a chance to view it as a family. Weeks 2 and 3 will be available on the Monday of each week.
Stay safe,
Miss Sandberg

GIFT CARD FUNDRAISER
The deadline has been extended to Friday, December 4th for our Christmas Gift Card fundraiser. The school purchases gift-cards at a discount, and then resells them at face-value – so there is no extra cost to you! The school receives the difference (2% to 10% depending on retailer) as a fundraiser. This is an easy way to raise money by spending on ordinary, everyday things like groceries. Small gift-cards are great for stocking stuffers or for those opting to purchase gift-cards for gifts or on-line shopping. The order forms are available on our website. Pick-up of gift cards will be the week of December 12th.
ADVENT GIVING
We will be collecting non-perishable food items for St. Vincent De Paul during Advent for their Christmas Hampers. They are in need of the following items: pasta sauce, soup, canned pork & beans, canned spaghetti, Kraft dinner, peanut butter, tins of salmon, tuna and chicken, canned vegetables, juice boxes, coffee, tea, cereal, tins of cookies (they have a good supply of pasta noodles already). Your support is greatly appreciated! We are asking Primary students to bring in non-perishables during the week of November 30th to December 4th and Intermediate students, during the week of December 7th to 10th. The last day for donations will be December 10th.
ADVENT GIVING TREE
Our Advent Giving Tree will be a little different this year. Instead of purchasing gifts for the needy, families are invited to donate money that the organizers will use to purchase gifts for five local organizations: Talitha Koum Society, Luke 15 House, St. Vincent de Paul Society, Hawthorne Care Centre and Cartier Care Home. The project is being organized jointly by Mrs Styka and Deacon Greg. Donations should be make through the archdiocesan website https://support.rcav.org/donate-one-time/ Ensure to put “All Saints Parish Offering” under Parish name and in the Comment Box “Advent Charity”. Donations must be received by December 18th. Thank-you for helping the needy this Advent.
Thank-you
