PINK SHIRT DAY

Pink Shirt Day is next Wednesday, February 24th. This Pink Shirt Day, our focus is working together and treating others with dignity and respect. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected us all and shown the importance of helping one another and advocating for those who need it. Help us “lift each other up” and encourage healthy self-esteem, empathy, compassion and kindness. Students are invited to wear pink and bring a loonie for Catholic Charities. We are very close to reaching our goal of raising $1,000 for Catholic Charities! Way to go QAS families!

STATIONS OF THE CROSS

The Stations of the Cross is a devotion to the Sacred Passion, in which we accompany, in spirit, our Blessed Lord in His sorrowful journey from the house of Pilate to Calvary, and meditate on His sufferings and death. Our students and their families have beautifully recreated the stations of the Cross with guided meditation posted up around the outside of our school. Families and Parishioners are invited to come and do the stations of the cross as a family. Please come after 4pm weekdays (school hours not permitted) or any time on weekends.

It’s Father Don’s birthday on Thursday February 18! Pray for him, send him a card and tell him how much you appreciate him!

Have a blessed Lent!

Thank-you
