· RCAV Men’s Hostel – We will also be collecting items for the RCAV Men’s Hostel. Last year, our community was very generous. They are looking forward to our support again. Items that they collect are toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, socks, gloves, toques, and shampoo. Items may be dropped off in the boxes in the front foyer of the school.

· Mite Boxes – were sent home today. Students may choose to help around the home and earn some money to place in the Mite Boxes. These will be collected after Easter and the money will go to support the seminarians who are studying to serve as Priests in the Archdiocese of Vancouver. Last year close to $35, 000.00 was collected from the CISVA schools and PREP programs.

· Family Faith Formation Activity – a reminder that all families need to complete and return the activity that was sent home last week via email. These activities are intended to build our faith and help to develop a relationship with Jesus. Our Grade 2 class led the charge with the December activity with the most participation.

· PAC Pub Night Join the QAS PAC for a Pub Night on Friday, March 6 at St James Well. Tickets cost $45 per person. Join the QAS community and support the school! · Made for Heaven – Lenten Series – As we enter this sacred season of Lent, the parish is preparing a meaningful journey of reflection, renewal, and deeper connection with a God who created us for eternal life.

Each week, we’ll open with praise & worship, explore the gospel for the upcoming Sunday, listen to a testimony from one of our parishioners, and create space for conversation, and spiritual renewal.

You are invited to join us for our Lenten gatherings a 4-part series “Made for Heaven” with Fr. Agustino Torres from FORMED.

Let’s journey together toward Easter with open hearts and renewed hope.

Invite your friends or family members to journey this Lenten season with you. Click here to register: Made for Heaven – Lenten Series

· Lenten Fridays: Soup and Bun – Volunteers Needed! – As we prepare for the Lenten season, we are looking for volunteers from our QAS families to help provide soup and buns for our parish community on the Fridays of Lent (Feb 20 to March 27).

Our goal each Friday is to offer two (2) to three (3) varieties of soup. To support this effort, volunteers are kindly asked to serve enough for approximately 20–30 people. Soup distribution will take place in the parish hall from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, prior to the Stations of the Cross and Mass.
