School News

· Re-Registration Packages – will be available for pick up at the AGM on Tuesday, March 3^rd. If you can’t pick up the package at the AGM, they will be available at the school office the next day. All packages need to be returned to the school by Thursday, March 12^th. Late packages will be subject to a $50 late fee.

· AGM – AGM RAFFLE: The PEC would like to invite all parents to attend the AGM on Tuesday, March 3^rd at 2:00 pm and get involved! All attendees at the AGM will not only earn 1 participation hour, but there will also be a RAFFLE to WIN one month tuition for one student (category 1) for the 2026/27 school year! Winner will be drawn at the end of the meeting!

· Tax Receipts – are ready for pickup at the school office.

· RCAV Men’s Hostel – We will also be collecting items for the RCAV Men’s Hostel. Last year, our community was very generous. They are looking forward to our support again. Items that they collect are toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, socks, gloves, toques, and shampoo. Items may be dropped off in the boxes in the front foyer of the school.

· Consignment Sale – is this Friday, February 27^th from 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm outside of the gym doors (covered area). Cash or cheque accepted.

· Congratulations! – Our Grade 6 Girls, Grade 7 Girls and Grade 7 Boys have qualified for the CISVA Big 8 Basketball Tournament to be held next Wednesday and Thursday, at the Richmond Oval. Good luck and Go Saints Go!

Fundraising

· PAC Pub Night – Join the QAS PAC for a Pub Night on Friday, March 6 at St James Well. Tickets cost $45 per person. Join the QAS community and support the school! Please see the ticket order form with more details attached. Don’t have a printer? Stop at the school office for a hard copy of the order form. All forms and payments are due back to the school office no later than Tuesday, March 3^rd.

Parish News

· Friday Morning Coffee & Treats! – Friday, 27 February – Join us for the school Mass at 9:00 AM this Friday, then head to the parish hall for coffee and great conversation!

· Spring Alpha – Dear School Parents: The parish would like to invite you once again to attend Alpha.

If you or anyone you know is interested in learning more about becoming Catholic, Alpha is the first step in this process. Click on this link to register: Spring Alpha and join an open conversation about faith.

· Lenten Fridays: Soup and Bun – Volunteers Needed! – As we prepare for the Lenten season, we are looking for volunteers from our QAS families to help provide soup and buns for our parish community on the Fridays of Lent (Feb 20 to March 27).Our goal each Friday is to offer two (2) to three (3) varieties of soup. To support this effort, volunteers are kindly asked to serve enough for approximately 20–30 people. Soup distribution will take place in the parish hall from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, prior to the Stations of the Cross and Mass.

· Talk on Social Media, Awareness, Digital Citizenship, Cyberbullying – Thursday, April 23 at 6PM-8PM, Parish Hall. As a parent, you play a vital role in shaping how your child becomes a responsible digital citizen. Join us as we share practical strategies, up-to-date information, and key focus areas to help keep children safe and supported in their online experience.

· CWL Mother’s Day Tea – they are hosting a Mother’s Day Tea Fundraiser on Saturday, April 25^th from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the All Saints Parish Hall. Please see the attached poster for more information.
