Dear QAS Families,
We are trying something new this year at QAS for track and field. Many other schools both Catholic and Public have gone this way: – track and field will be part of our PE classes beginning on Monday, April 4th. The schedule for PE classes will be as follows:
-Grades 2, 3 and 4 will have PE on Mondays and Tuesdays – 8:55 to 10:00 a.m.
-Grades 5, 6, and 7 will have PE on Mondays and Tuesdays and Fridays – 1:45 to 2:50 p.m.
-Grade 2 will also have PE with Mrs. Lamasan on Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m.
-Grade 3 will also have PE with Ms. Chavez on Fridays at 11:20 a.m.
-The Grade 4 class will join in with the Gr. 5/6/7 on Fridays from 1:45 to 2:50 p.m.
-K and Grade 1 classes will have their PE classes on the regular day and time.
This will allow all students the opportunity to learn the skills, try the events, and improve their physical fitness. Track and field is a great way to cross train for other sports and activities. We will run the classes as a station approach and have a number of staff members coaching each day.
Students should be prepared to go outside rain or shine. Please come dressed for the weather and don’t forget your water bottle!
Parents, if you are available to assist during these PE times, please contact Mrs. Epplette. Participation hours will be given to anyone who is able to make a full season (to the end of May) commitment.

Class Photos
These will take place on Tuesday, April 5th. As this is also a P.E. day, we will begin with K and Grade 1s, at 9:00 a.m. The Grade 7, 6, and 5 classes will follow before recess. These students should come to school in their full uniform, including their sweater.
The Grade 2, 3, and 4 classes will have their photos after recess. They should come to school in their PE uniform and bring their full school uniform with them. They will be given the opportunity to change into their uniform prior to their photo.

A reminder of the Parent’s (only) meeting tomorrow night at 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Centre.
Hot Foods
Hot Foods 3rd and final session for this school year is open until 11:59 pm on March 31. The lunch dates available will be April 13-June 15. We have rescheduled the lunch date from January that was postponed to a new date of April 6. Everything your child had ordered for the January lunch will be served on April 6. Please order your lunches by March 31 as we do not accept late orders.

The Meridian Meats and Ralph’s Farm Fresh Fundraiser is here at QAS!
The way it works: We have two weeks to submit orders online. Use the link below to indicate the number of gift cards you wish to purchase, in increments of $10, $25, $50, $75, or $100. Purchase as many as you like and give them away as gifts! And the best part is that QAS will keep 30% of the total sales for fundraising!
After you submit the online order form, please make out a cheque for the total amount to Queen of All Saints school, and be sure to put it in an envelope with your name, and write Meridian Meats on it. You can collect fees from your friends and family. Delivery of gift cards will be April 25, 2022 through your QAS child. You will then distribute the gift cards to those who purchased them through you.

This fundraiser will run from March 28 – April 11, 2022. All payment must be received by 3pm April 11.
