Important Dates

School News

· Earthquake/Emergency Release Drill – is tomorrow Thursday, October 9 at 2:15pm. We will have tables set up where parents will sign their child/children out. Parents will go to the corresponding bin by last name and fill out the form and then proceed to the release center. Please see the map attached.

· Three Way Conference – student/parent/teacher conference will be on Thursday, October 23. Students will not attend classes on this day but will come at the Conference time chosen. Students should come in full uniform. The Calendly link was sent last Friday for sign up, it’ll close on Monday, October 20.

· Family Formation – please find attached newsletter and template for a family faith activity.

· QAS Choir – parents should have received an email regarding choir, if your child signed up. If you did not get an email, please see the attached information.

· Reminder –that there is no drop off in any of the parking lots. Parents need to park and escort their child/children to their assigned door. If you want to drop off, you can on Fairfax Street.

Fundraising

· Support Our COMMUNITY VALUES Fundraiser! We’re raising funds for much-needed school improvements, and your support means a lot! The Community Values Book is available for $35 and includes over $5,000 in savings at popular Tri-Cities businesses like White Spot, Doughnut Love, and Extreme Air Park.

If you choose not to sell or purchase the book, please return it to the office as soon as possible.

· Walkathon – will be taking place this Friday, October 10^th. Students will be dismissed at 12pm.

New this year, donations will be accepted online through the link below. Please follow the instructions to donate.

1. Scroll down and click on your child’s “GIVING GROUP” (GRADE/TEACHER).

2. Click on the “GIVE” button and enter your donation.

3. Click “CONTINUE” and in the “MESSAGE BOX” enter your child’s full name.

4. FAMILIES WITH MULTIPLE CHILDREN, PLEASE MAKE SEPARATE DONATIONS TO SPECIFIC GRADES, as this will help with the process of tracking Walkathon Challenges (Class, School, Half-Way Hero) and Prize Draw Categories.

Deadline for donations and eligibility for Category prizing: Friday, October 17^th.

Parish News

· No Friday Morning Coffee & Treats! – Friday, Oct 10

· Parish Family Living Rosary – Thursday, 9 OCT at 6PM

Please join us for our Parish Family Living Rosary. We will begin with Holy Mass, followed by a short candlelight procession to the parking lot, where we’ll pray the Rosary together. Afterward, we’ll gather in the parish hall for light refreshments and fellowship. Children from the parish will help lead the Rosary.

· Children and Anxiety – Thursday, 6 November at 6PM at the Parish Hall

· Carney Garage Sale – will be on Saturday, October 25 from 8:30am – 3:30pm and Sunday, October 26 from 9:30am – 2:30pm. See the attached flyer for more information.
