Fundraising News
Help us reach our annual fundraising goal!
o QAS GALA is approaching fast! Join us on Saturday, February 1,2025 at the Elements Hotel in Burnaby. Ticket information will be announced soon!
We are still accepting business and family sponsorships.
Auction items – We will be accepting Auction items (Gift cards, spirits/wines, experiences, tickets, and cash!) until January 10th. Please send your donations to the office.
On behalf of the Gala Committee – We thank you for supporting our kids!
50/50 booklets will be coming out next week. We hope that each family will be able to sell at least one booklet. What a great time to get your involved over the holiday season!
Hot Foods
o Session 2 for Hot Foods: We’re excited to announce that Munch a Lunch is now open for ordering for Session 2 it will close on December 16! NO LATE ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED

All absentee lunches (phone call or not) will be sent to the office for pickup. This helps us minimize errors and ensure smooth operations. Please note that we are no longer able to send lunches to siblings in other grades. This change is necessary to reduce confusion and maintain efficiency for everyone involved.
School News
o Gym Strip Order: Just a reminder ordering for gym strip is now open and closes on Friday, December 13. Please check to see if you will need shorts or shirts for spring as this is the last order until June. Here is the link to order https://qasbc.ca/pe-uniform-orders/
o Christmas Concert: For the evening performance on Wednesday, December 11 students need to arrive at the school in costume by 6:30 pm and the west gym doors will open for the performance at 6:45 pm. As in previous years, there will be a donation box for nonperishable goods (St. Vincent de Paul food bank) or a box for cash donations. As this is a school event, students are expected to participate.

o St. Vincent de Paul: Each Advent, our school supports the All Saints Parish StVdP by donating an overwhelming amount of food to support families and individuals. Students are asked to bring in the following items Starting on Monday December 9:
Tuna, canned ham, chicken, canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned pork and beans, chili, soup, pasta sauce & spaghetti, kraft dinner, cereal, pancake mix & syrup, peanut butter, crackers prior to Friday, December 13th.
o Spirit Week: Get ready to bring the Christmas Spirit to QAS! For the last week of school, before Christmas break, we will be having different Christmas themed days. Please see attached sheet for each themed day.
Parish Information
Our Parish invites all families to join the following events:
o Friday Morning Coffee & Treats!-Dec 13th
Start your Friday off right! Join us for the school Mass at 9:00 AM, then head to the parish hall for coffee, sweet treats, and great conversation. Got some Christmas baking? Bring it along and find some eager taste-testers. It’s a perfect way to kick off the holiday season—see you there!
o Be Involved at the Christmas Eve Mass Celebration! Come celebrate and get involved in our Christmas Eve Mass on Sunday, December 24th at 5 PM.
o Here’s how you can help:
· Readers: We need 6 student volunteers to read the Prayers of the Faithful.
· Greeters/Ushers: 4Grade 6 or 7 students to warmly welcome our parishioners and assist as ushers.
· Parent Ushers: 6parents to help guide and support during the Mass.
This is a beautiful opportunity for families to serve together and share in the spirit of Christmas. Please email Sharon Dlima at [email protected] with the full names and roles you’re interested in.
o Get Involved! Parish-School Integration Volunteers Needed
Be a part of building a stronger connection between our parish and school! We’re looking for volunteers to help with activities like Friday Coffee, Class Masses, and more. Volunteer hours will be given. If you’re interested, please email Mrs. Sharon Dlima at [email protected].
