Principal’s Message
Congratulations to our Grade 6 and Grade 7 Girls Basketball teams who defeated Holy Cross in their playoff games yesterday. Both teams will now move on to the CISVA “Big 8” on Monday, March 10th. Way to go girls and go Saints go!
Our Grade 6 Boys Basketball team play their playoff game at QAS vs Our Lady of Mercy on Tuesday, March 4th at 2:30 p.m. Come and cheer our boys on.
School News
o AGM RAFFLE: The PEC would like to invite all parents to attend the AGM and get involved! All attendees at the AGM will not only earn 2 participation hours, but there will also be a RAFFLE to WIN one month tuition for one student (Valued at $422) for the 2025/26 school year! Winner will be drawn at the end of the meeting!
o AGM Parent Participation Hours: Attached are the instructions on how to register for the AGM on Wednesday, March 5th at 2pm.
o Basketball Jersey – If your child’s basketball season is over, please return your child’s jersey making sure they are washed and in good condition.
o Shrove Tuesday – On Tuesday, March 4th, all of our students will be treated to a Pancake Breakfast, hosted by the
Knights of Columbus. Please ensure that your child has something to eat prior to coming to school, as the classes will go in shifts to eat. Not necessarily first thing in the morning.
o Ash Wednesday (March 5) – We will begin the day with Mass at 9:00 a.m. Ashes will be distributed. All are encouraged to attend. The annual Rice Bowl Lunch will also be served on this day. Students are encouraged to take the challenge at lunch, by just eating rice and drinking water. They are encouraged to bring a recess snack.
o Re-Registration Packages – Will be available for pick up at the AGM next Wednesday, March 5. Completed packages are due back to the school office by Thursday, March 13th. A late charge of $50 will be charged for packages received after that date.
Parish Information
o Friday Morning Coffee & Treats!-Feb 28th Join us for the school Mass at 9:00 AM this Friday, then head to the parish hall for coffee, sweet treats, and great conversation—see you there!
o Ash Wednesday Mass Times – Ash Wednesday is on March 5th. Mass will be celebrated at 9:00am and 7:00pm.
