· Dress Down Day Just a reminder that tomorrow is Dress Down Day. Wear your “Cozy Sweater” and bring $1 for Catholic Charities.

· Christmas Concert Costumes – Students in Kindergarten – Grade 2 and Grade 4-7 will be wearing white tops and black pants and students in Grade 3 will be given costumes. The Christmas Concert will be taking place on Tuesday, December 16th at 1:30pm and Wednesday, December 17th at 7:00pm.

· QAS Choir – if your child is in choir please see the attached newsletter.

· St. Vincent de Paul: Each Advent, our school supports the All Saints Parish StVdP by donating food items to support families and individuals. Students are asked to bring in the following items Starting on Monday December 1:

Tuna, canned ham, chicken, canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned pork and beans, chili, soup, pasta sauce & spaghetti, kraft dinner, cereal, pancake mix & syrup, peanut butter, crackers prior to Friday, December 12th.

· Advent Assemblies – all are invited to attend these prayer times on Tuesdays, Dec. 1 at 9:00 a.m. and Dec. 9 at 8:50 a.m. and Monday, Dec. 15 at 8:50 a.m.

· Advent Confessions – will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 3 and Thursday, Dec. 4. for our Grades 3 to 7 students.

· Fall Sports Report – all our Boys’ Soccer teams finished with winning records. Our Senior team placed 3rd in the CISVA finals. Our Juvenile team placed 7th in the CISVA “Big 8”. Congrats to our athletes and coaches, Mr. Wallace,

Mrs. Tomic, Mr. Clarke, Mr. Basso, and Mrs. Lucarino.

The QAS Girls’ Volleyball teams also experienced much success, as all teams made the playoffs. Our athletes displayed good skill and sportsmanship. Thanks to our coaches for your hard work, Ms. Bevacqua, Mrs. Lemire, Ms. Abbinante, and Mrs. Ogilvie.

Our Boys’ Volleyball teams continue to grow in participation numbers and skills. Although we did not advance to the CISVA “Big 8”, all three teams played some close and exciting games, in the exhibition games and qualifying tournaments. With even more participation next year, we hope to build our program. Our dedicated coaches are Mrs. Wong, Mr. Basso and Ms. Sandberg.

We will have a Fall Sports Assembly on Thursday, December 18th at 2:00 p.m., where we will recognize all our fall sports athletes. All are welcome to attend. If students could please return volleyball or soccer jerseys ASAP.


· Munch a Lunch – will be opening for session 2 on Friday, December 5 until Friday, December 12 at midnight. You can click on the click to order or set up an account. www.munchalunch.com/schools/queenofallsaints

· Friday Morning Coffee & Treats! – Friday, 28 November. Join us for the school Mass at 9:00 AM this Friday, then head to the parish hall for coffee and great conversation!

· Advent Wreath Making – Friday, 28 November | 3PM-5PM | Parish Hall – Join us for Advent Wreath Making on Friday, Nov 28th, 3PM to 5PM in the parish hall. Cost: $15 per family (includes candles, foam, and base) Bring your own greens, and scissors to cut branches. · Christmas Pageant 2025 – The parish is inviting and encouraging all families to participate in the Children’s Mass on Christmas eve (mass time TBA). We will be having a Christmas Pageant before the Mass, and we are looking for children to act, dress in costumes and fill the various roles. See below for a list of roles that need to be filled. Please send an email to Lesley at [email protected] to confirm your child’s participation. Be sure to include your child’s top 3 role choices in your email as roles will be assigned at the first rehearsal (if there is great interest in a particular role, we will draw lots).

· Christmas Pageant Roles: Total (28)

Narrator (2,), Mary (1), Joseph (1), Innkeeper (1), Main Angel (1), Group of Angels (6), Shepherds (6), Angel Starholder (1), Wise Men (3), plus various animals (sheep, cows)
