Dear Parents,
The All Saints Parish Education Committee is in need of someone to fulfill the role of Treasurer. “The role of the Treasurer in the parish or regional education committee is critical to the successful functioning of the Education Committee and ultimately to the successful functioning of the school”.
(CISVA Policy 117)
The duties include:
-attending the monthly PEC meeting (during COVID-19 the meetings are held via Zoom) and
reporting on the financials
-preparing the preliminary and final budgets for the school. This is done with the collaboration,
including the Pastor, Principal, Chairperson, Maintenance person and school bookkeeper
-monitoring expenditures and receipts
-monitoring school accounts
-signing cheques for the school
“The role of the Treasurer is a critical one in the financial management of the school and as such must be filled by a person with formal accountancy designation and/or business administrative skills with direct experience in preparing and managing budgets, and undertaking financial analysis”.
(CISVA Policy 117)
If you are able and willing to take on this role, with the permission of Father Don, the school is offering parent participation incentives.
Please contact me for further information.
Take care,
J. Sandberg
Principal

Parking Lot Safety
A reminder to students and parents, especially those heading towards the Kindergarten and Preschool entrance in the morning, to use the crosswalk and cross with the assistance of the Parent Supervisor when crossing from the parking area to the school. With the many vehicles in the area, we want to ensure that our youngest students do not dart out into traffic.
Family Book Launch
You are invited to a book launch on Sunday, February 20th at St. Joseph’s Parish. See attached flyer for more details. These books are written by local Catholic authors that attend St. Joseph’s parish in Port Moody and our very own All Saints Parish. Their website is https://www.camkambooks.com/ where you can find more information about our upcoming event. Bonnie has published two kids saint activity books, one about the North American Martyrs and the other about the Canadian Saints.
